The University of Memphis is working with a nationally known master planning firm, SmithGroupJJR, in conjunction with local representatives from Looney Ricks Kiss Architecture, to update our comprehensive facilities master plan. The process is in the the analysis phase, and the planning team will be on our campuses for their second visit next week.
Our Master planning effort incorporates a process of discovery and then analysis of our goals, aspirations, current challenges, and opportunities for the future of the campus environment. This analysis will guide the next phase of the process of idea generation and refinement.
Tony Poteet, Assistant to the Vice President of Planning at the University invites University of Memphis students, faculty and staff to attend the Campus Master Plan Open Houses to speak with the team at this analysis phase. You are encouraged to join in the conversation regarding the future development of the University of Memphis.
